'Ohai (Sesbania tomentosa)

'Ohai was probably once a common coastal species and spread up into some higher dry forests as well but now it is extremely scarce. On some of the relatively untouched northwestern Hawaiian islands 'ohai can be the dominant plant species. For my photo's of this species go here.
